Chapter 1
The Beginning of The Clans
How the Clans Came to be.
Once there was nothing in the lush, green land. Then cats came, and fought over the land. And soon came the cats who would change everything.
Water, Leaf, Night, Cloud, Dusk, and Star came with the other cats that came to forge a new life for themselves. They were different, and constantly fought.
One day, on the full moon, there was a terrible battle. Many of the cats were killed, and only Water, Leaf, Night, Cloud, and Dusk had survived, and Star was killed. His spirit went to the stars and met the other dead cats, who became StarClan.
Water, Leaf, Night, Cloud, and Dusk were about the turn against each other and fight, but suddenly a cat floated down from the stars.
It was Star, and the spirits of the killed cats followed him. "Stop." they said in one voice.
"This is not how it is to be."
The cats were afraid of the dead cats, and they were tired of the fighting.
"What should we do?" asked Leaf and Water.
"You must work together." was the reply.
"How? We are nothing alike!" cried Night and Cloud.
"You will become clans, and each will become your clan's leader. It is your destiny."
Star nodded towards Leaf. "Your clan will be LeafClan, and you will be known as LeafStar.
"Your clan will become WaterClan, and you will be WaterStar." he spoke to Water.
Star said to Night, "Your clan will be NightClan, and you shall be NightStar."
"CloudClan your clan will be, and CloudStar you are now known as." he told Cloud.
"And you will be DuskClan, and shall be known as DuskStar." Star said to Dusk.
"Now the era of the Clans will begin!" Star and the other dead cats yowled.
So the cats left, and they found cats just like them, and became the clans. LeafClan are cats who are good hunters, and fighters, while NightClan cats have good sight, even at night, and are great hiders. CloudClan run as quick as the wind, and WaterClan are fishers. DuskClan, the last Clan to form, are stealthy and sneaky.
And so the Clans began.
