"Blegh! Euggggh!" Sparkling droplets of water still flew from her paws as the tiny she-cat stopped every few steps to lean back upon her haunches and shake each forepaw, cringing and shakign her head with disgust. "Gross!" The she-cat moaned, rolling her piercing blue eyes in exasperation at this hellish task, how could anyone bear it? Of course, she had. Many, many times had she done this very chore, cleaning out the nasty soiled moss from the elders den. And when the elders were too fat and lazy to get off their butts and use the dirt place? "Ickkk." Rather than dare clean her poor reeking paws, the apprentice had to resort to splashing them about in a nearby stream, pitying the next cat to take a slurp from that. Vile, horrible, gross stuff. How could mouthing off to warriors and skipping training ever compare to this misery? Melodramatic as ever, young Shatterpaw flopped down in her comforting pine-needle nest as soon as she managed to dart into the apprentice den, unseen by warriors. Proudly purring and forgetting her earlier horror, the smug little she-cat curled up and set her head down, more content with doing nothing than being caught and ordered about some more. Stupid warriors.

Rainpaw returned from hunting. He flopped down beside Shatterpaw. "Weren't you supposed to clean the Elders Den?" he said as he noticed her. "They were yelling at me to clean it. I'm exhausted." he said and took a snooze.

She watched warily as a silhouette bocked out the entrance to the den, her head shooting up with the appearance of this figure, but as a gentle breeze brought the scent to her, Shatterpaw let out a sigh of relief. "Gosh Rainpaw, I thought you were another warrior. I swear they're out to get me!" The petite white she-cat groaned, rolling her sapphire eyes dramatically and flopping on her back as she lounged into her nest once more, seeking a moment of rest before the older clanmates returned, demanding more punishment for the saucy apprentice. "Wha- Oh, yeah, I already cleaned it. Nagging old crowfood lumps! It'll never be clean enough for them. Ick. I'm just afraid that-" She allowed her sentence to fade away as Rainpaw proceeded to roll over and drift into sleep. "Oh come on!" Shatterpaw snorted, reaching over to deal the tom a playful shove. "Seriously? You can't just ask me a question, start a conversation and then fall asleep y'mousebrain!" She laughed, shaking her head incredulously.

Rainpaw woke up, startled, and noticed it was only Shatterpaw. "Yeah, the elders are so annoying, and the warriors always work you to death.." Rainpaw mumbled. Then he brightened. "Do you want to go on patrol with me? And LongFang of course." he added.

Batflight was wandering the clearing outside and heard the chattering, as he poked his head inside. "Hello you two. Been cleaning the elder's den I see?" he mewed as his whiskers twitched to and fro with amusement. "Could I go on patrol with you guys? I've had nothing to do today-" He meowed cheerfully as he also added, "-And it's not polite to be badmouthing the elders. You two both know how there tempers are, too." He looked up into the sky and let out an relieving sigh, to see the beauty of it all. The sun and it's radiance was in full view as it's rays washed and lapped over everything in it's path. There wasn't a cloud in sight to cover it's glory and depride it of it's warmth. The birds seemed to feel comfortable with coming out of their small nests and hollows, as they begin to sing their soft lullabyes to the forest; their audience. It was in fact, a very nice day, which wasn't common near TwilightClan...
Note: *Hope you don't mind me rping here *Not very long xD *Like the attitudes of the cats *Have fun replying ^ w ^
